Jordin Sparks Speaks Out About Her Breakup From Jason Derulo...Singer Says, "We Set Ourselves Up For That"
While Jason Derulo is going around trying to clear up his name on infidelity rumors, his former girlfriend, Jordin Sparks isn't so sure that Derulo was 100 % faithful following their breakup.
“I actually don’t want to comment on that,” she said Wednesday when Wendy Williams asked her the breakup drama. “I really don’t have anything to say about anything that’s been said.”
Last week, MStars News was shocked to hear that the longtime duo was over after being in a three year relationship. During and interview with Power 105.1 radio Derulo said that he stayed in the relationship a long time while thinking about ending things.

“A situation like this has been going on for a long time, and I’ve been feeling like this for a long time. It’s been going on for a long time, and I stayed through part of the time where I felt like I was ready to go,” he told the host.
Jason revealed that he still loved Sparks and isn't closing the chapter for good in the future, but Sparks seems to be content with being single.
“I think I’m starting to feel it,” Jordin said, when Wendy referred to the breakup as a blessing.
MStars News previously learned that Jason felt pressured into proposing to Jordin as they both seemed very much in love during his Marry Me track, featuring Jordin as the girl in the music video.
“We set ourselves up for that,” Jordin claims.
Jason revealed that questions of marriage influenced the track.
“I wrote the song because of the pressure. I wanted to say that we got time. There’s no rush. When the time is right, I will say, ‘Will you marry me,’” Derulo said on the Hot 97 radio show.
According to Jason, Sparks has not said a thing to him in weeks. He also made it clear that their breakup was not a publicity stunt to draw attention to their music careers.
“I wish that’s what it was. I really do,” Jason said.
After three years together, Jason said it is weird to not share all the success of life, and music with the woman who was apart of it all.
“I feel like my success is her success, too. It’s a crazy situation,” Derulo said. “You want to remain friends, but that’s hard. I love her. You just don’t fall out of love with somebody. It’s an unfortunate situation. I love her and care about her dearly.”
