'The Knick' Episode 8 "Working Late A Lot" Preview Photos & Videos [SPOILERS]: The Aftermath Of Two Romances Mixed With 1900 Hospital Drama - Season 1 Coming To An End Soon

Last week's episode of Cinemax's The Knick had audiences on the edges of their seats, due to plenty of racial tension and some romantic payoffs as the show faded out to credits. What kind of aftermath will we be dealing with this week? Let's take a look at some preview photos and videos for this week's episode, "Working Late A Lot." (SPOILERS to follow)

Perhaps the biggest shocker of last week's episode was when Thackery and Nurse Lucy ended up having liquid cocaine-infused sex. It was something fans have been waiting for, ever since John took a little too long to look at his nurse in episode one, so it was a solid payoff. From the looks of our main image above, we'll at least be seeing an interaction between the two.

Also, that gaze looks pretty intense. Perhaps this relationship is more about love than lust?

Hopefully we can also check in on Algernon and Cornelia, who were also involved in a heated love making session.

Unfortunately for Thackery, the following preview clip of the next episode shows him in an apparent state of discomfort. While talking to his two feuding doctors, Thackery is covered in sweat and easily annoyed. Is he out of cocaine? Did he use it all up in the weird sex with Lucy? How will this affect his work?
