As readers await for the upcoming Fight Club 2 from Dark Horse Comics, the highly anticipated follow-up from author Chuck Palahniuk, artist Cameron Stewart explains what the violent id Tyler Durden will do that will "anger a lot of people."

During our coverage of San Diego Comic-Con, Dark Horse announced the sequel to the provocative novel, Fight Club. The next installment follows unnamed narrator and his underground fighting club 10 years after the shocking ending. The bruised and psychotic storyteller now has a 9 year old kid named Junior with Marla Singer.

In an interview with USA Today, the Fight Club writer teases Durden's true origins will be revealed "Tyler is something that maybe has been around for centuries and is not just this aberration that's popped into his mind."

Stewart explained to Comic Book Resources the artistic process behind the adaptation. Matt Fraction (Hawkeye) served as a consultant to the Damned scribe, who had never written a script before. As the number of panels counted up to 400, the Batgirl illustrator had to determine where the page breaks should be.

Having read the entire script, Stewart reveals the comic is 100 percent not what readers will expect, "I think everybody has an idea when they hear Fight Club 2, they kind of think, 'Oh, I know how that's gonna go,' and you're wrong. I could promise you you are absolutely wrong. It goes in places there is no way you could see it coming, and I think it's gonna surprise and shock and baffle and maybe anger a lot of people, particularly if you've only ever seen the movie."

As we previously mentioned, the book and movie have two different endings. In the novel, the unreliable narrator shoots himself in the head, winding up in a mental hospital.

The Fight Cub 2 artist continues, "I think that reading the novel or otherwise familiarizing yourself with Chuck Palahniuk as an author is gonna be maybe a good background for reading this."

Fight Club 2 will be released in May 2015. Readers, are you excited to see what Tyler Durden does next?
