'Twin Peaks' Reboot, Season 3 Episodes? David Lynch & Mark Frost Post Cryptic Twitter Messages, Teasing Return To Series?
Plenty of rumors are started on Twitter, but what if the speculation originated from not one, but two creators of a series that fans have wanted to see comeback since it ended in the early 1990s? We're talking about Twin Peaks, of course, and its creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, who both took to twitter to tease some sort of return. We don't know if this means a season 3 return or a reboot, but we do know that we're going to be paying close attention to these Twitter accounts from here on out!
"Dear Twitter Friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style! #damngoodcoffee," both co-creators of the cult classic television series tweeted at the same time this week.
If you don't take our word for it, check out the said Twitter posts right here:
What do you think of these tweets? Is Twin Peaks making a return or is there something a little less exciting about to happen?
Earlier this year, Lynch shot down rumors of the series making a comeback, but that might have changed. He simply stated that there was "no real truth" to that rumor, which is pretty open-ended if you think about the time that has gone by since!
