"Barbie Girl" Parody Mocks Mitt Romney [VIDEO]
The Agenda Project Action Fund proudly presents to you - "Romney Girl."
The music video parodies Aqua's original 1997 hit "Barbie Girl."
The video makes some sharp digs at the former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, a rather stark conservative and the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party in this year's upcoming presidential election.
"Romney Girl," starring Miss Swiss "Bank Account," even has its own website. With language that is politically humorous and satirical, the website highlights some very serious and harsh allegations surrounding Romney and his campaign, including:
"Romney Girl recently gained public attention for inadvertently informing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that that Mitt Romney had paid zero taxes in the last ten years."
Let's just say, the "Romney Girl" campaign seems at odds with Mitt Romney himself.
Check out part of the chorus:
"I'm a Romney girl, in a Romney world/Life is taxless. It's fantastic/Silver tip your hair, tax shelters everywhere/Outsource nation, Bain is his creation."
The video is vastly different from the "Obama Girl" campaign that turned heads in the summer of 2007. In her videos, "Obama Girl" actually confesses her love for the current prez. Check out the video that sparked it all here:
