Jason Aldean's latest album Old Boots, New Dirt is set to hit stores Tuesday, Oct. 7, but there is more to the 37-year-old than music. The "Burnin' It Down" singer opened up exclusively to Us Weekly and told them facts you didn't know about him, starting with his favorite band of all time.

So who is Jason's favorite band? Alabama! The "Big Green Tractor" singer even references the band in one of his new songs. Even though his favorite band is Alabama, his favorite college team is the University of Georgia. "I'm a huge University of Georgia football fan and dreamed of going to games as a kid, but we couldn't afford it," the Georgia native revealed.

Aldean is known for his giant cowboy hat, which you can barely see his face underneath, but he isn't bald. "I wear a hat all the time, but I do have hair under there," Jason told Us Weekly. "I used to have a mullet haircut," he added.

Our favorite facts include why Jason always played first base in baseball and his old jobs. "Growing up, I always played first base in baseball because I noticed first basemen got the most TV time," the singer admitted.

As for his pre-music jobs, they've included driving a Pepsi truck in Georgia and selling pagers at a mall kiosk, where he got fired for showing up hungover.

The country artist isn't just focusing on his new music this fall. In fact, he proposed to his girlfriend Brittany Kerr (who was a former NBA dancer) last month and is ready to move past the scandal that surrounds his relationship. Kerr is the woman he was caught cheating with in 2012, but since then the duo has tried to move forward and is happily engaged.

"So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but I am a better person because of it, and wouldn't change a thing. I'm happier than I have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. Its time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timetomoveon," Jason wrote on Instagram in August.

Since the engagement announcement, the couple has focused on the positives and forgotten about the rough past.

"We've been on cloud nine the past few days!! My heart has never been more full of happiness and love... Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man," Brittany wrote last week after Jason proposed.
