'Nashville' Season 3 Spoilers: Hayden Panettiere & Jonathan Jackson- Will Juliette & Avery Get Back Together After Shocking Revelation?
Nashville is only two episodes into its third season and things are already getting pretty intense. First off, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) is pregnant and spoiler alert, it might not be Jeff Fordham's after all. During the final seconds of last week's episode, while Juliette was thinking about getting an abortion, the doctors revealed to her that she was 8-weeks along in her pregnancy, meaning that the baby couldn't be Jeff's and had to be her ex-boyfriend Avery's.
So will Juliette keep the baby? And will her and Avery get back together? Jonathan Jackson who plays the country singer on the show sat down with TVGuide.com to give them the scoop on all things Nashville.
While the verdict is still up in the air on whether or not Juliette will tell Avery about the pregnancy, Jackson does reveal that right now might not be the best time for the two characters to talk about it.
"He's obviously, as we say in the first couple of episodes, drinking a lot and not in a very stable place, so that doesn't help being able to process life-altering news," Jonathan explained. "He's in a fragile place."
The star does say that should Juliette tell him about the pregnancy that he wouldn't know if Avery would get upset about it or not.
"I think it would depend on the way in which it was communication," Jackson states. "I don't know if he'd be angry just by the mere fact of it, but I think the way in which it's communicated to him would matter.'
As far as his view on whether or not Juliette should get an abortion, Jackson says that should she go through with it that it wouldn't be something that would sit well with Avery.
"I don't think that would sit well with him at all," the actor revealed. "Whatever Avery's faults are, I think that he would have an instinct towards responsibility in this kind of a thing."
However, it looks like their might be a new love interest in Juliette's life as we previously reported Derek Hough is making his way into the series to star alongside Barnes in the Patsy Cline Biopic. The dancing pro is sure to shake things up between Juliette and Avery.
