'The Evil Within' Gameplay Trailer, Release Date News & Spoilers [VIDEO] Meet "The Haunted" - Your Nightmare Enemies In 2014 Survival Horror Title

Detective Sebastian Castellanos sure does have a nightmare of a time in front of him in The Evil Within gameplay. With a release date set for October 14 (on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One), we can't wait to see what the creator of Resident Evil (Shinji Mikami) has in store for us in this new title. Luckily, a new trailer debuted this week, detailing the traps and enemies we'll be facing when we play through the game. Check out the "Haunted" foes you'll face in this preview video below!

While watching this new trailer, we learn that Castellanos is up against some scary monsters and traps, but the main enemy is called "The Keeper." We must stay as far away from this guy as possible, but that's obviously easier said than done. With his giant meat tenderizer and a head covered by a lockbox, gamers are sure to have nightmares about this guy!

Other than the keeper, we'll meet some terribly deformed and mutated individuals that stretch the imagination and terrorize the detective. All in all, this is exactly the group of enemies we expected to see, but with added flavor and disgust of course!
