RIP John Witherspoon Trends on Twitter, Actor Fire Back 'I AIN'T DEAD' [PHOTOS]

John Witherspoon has fallen victim to a twitter death hoax.  RIP John Witherspoon has been trending and the actor noticed it and fired back.

"Hey but since I'm #Trending y'all better follow me and spread the word that "I AINT DEAD"  Sh****t I'm too busy Getting this money 2 die haha"

He continues, "What the Hell y'all talking bout on Here?!?!? I ain't "DEAD" I'm in Fr. Lauderdale at the Hard Rock Cafe Getting dat Paper #YeeTiDee"

Witherspoon, who is very healthy at the age of 70 is ALIVE and well.  He was performing improv in Fr. Lauderdale recently.

The comedian made light of the rumor and tried to bring some humor to it on his Twitter account.

He even promoted his cooking show on Twitter tweeting, "Hey since ya'll care about me so much go check out my Cooking show on YouTube here's the link https://www.youtube.com/TheJohnWitherspoon ... and SUBSCRIBE #YeeTiDee"

"Just wanna say Thank You #Twitter for making me Internet Famous for about 35-45min now yall should hook my Account up and #Verify it #Playa" he adds.

While many are retweeting about the rumor, others are not believing it until it's confirmed outside of Twitter.
