'Sons of Anarchy' Recap: "Some Strange Eruption" Presents Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller Against Henry Lin!
The death count has risen to 16 so far in season 7 of FX's Sons of Anarchy. After the bloody massacre in Nero's club, how will Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) retaliate in his vengeance-seeking mission against two rival mob bosses in "Some Strange Eruption?"
In the aftermath of the bloody massacre, Jax (Hunnam) feels numb as he smokes his cigarette. Nero (Jimmy Smits) is grieving over the loss of his club and girls. As he burns his thumb with his lighter, Jax never thought Henry Lin (Kenneth Choi) would go this far.
During the night, Sheriff Althea (Annabeth Gish) and Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) ended up sleeping together. They still don't where their feelings stand after all these deaths. Chibs though promises he will try to make it work; that there will be no more dead bodies.
Henry Lin and his bodyguards pay Nero a visit after the massacre. By the end of the day, Nero has to hand in Jax over or else his family will be killed. Knowing that his loved ones are being threatened, Nero doesn't hold back as he swings his fist at Jax.
The club find out who let it slip that they had Lin's guns and druges in their warehouse. Just when Tig (Kim Coates) is about to put the flute up the traitor's butt, the snitch squeals. Before they can get anything else out of him, he is shot in the head.
Jax reveals to Nero that Henry ordered the hit on Tara. Gemma (Katey Sagal) saw one of Lin's men the night of Tara's murder. When Nero tries to question Gemma about this, she continues to spread even more lies.
At the safe house, Jax's son is swinging a hammer around, screaming he wants to go home. Wendy and Gemma try to keep the boy calm, but his anger causes his baby brother to cry. Jax's son then gives up the hammer to Gemma.
Henry and his men end up being backstabbed by Jax and Nero. Jax wants to fight Henry but Lin gets the best of him. Just as Jax is pummeling Henry's face, the police suddenly arrive. Jax screams as his boys pull him away.
Henry doesn't even know why Jax wants him dead. Later that night, the SAMCRO club continue the war, shooting down Lin's men in a drive-by. More blood is spilled and more dead bodies will end up being carried away.
While reading the newspaper about the club massacre, Juice (Theo Rossi) ends up being discovered by the hotel manager. Because the manager is Chinese, Juice mistakenly thinks the manager works for henry Lin. Juice ends up killing the innocent man and emptying his bullets on the man's face.
During their getaway, Gemma sneaks a silencer into her bag. After Juice realizes Gemma is lying to him, he grabs the steering wheel and flips the car over. Gemma pleads for her life as Juice points the silencer at her head.
