Stephen Collins '7th Heaven' Co-star Catherine Hicks Responds to Actor's Alleged Molestation Charges [WATCH VIDEO]
Catherine Hicks is speaking out today about her 7th Heaven TV husband Stephen Collins molestation charges. Hicks who played Annie Camden on the series, which spanned from 1996 to 2007, was caught on video as she came to the defense of Collins who played her husband for more than 10 years.
The Daily Mail got a hold of videotape, where Hicks came to the defense of Stephen. In the video the actress is making her way to her car in a in a hospital parking garage in Santa Monica, and the videographer stops her to ask about the charges that are now facing Collins.
"I have really nothing to say, I don't know anything," she says, as she makes her way to her car. "Stephen's a good guy in my opinion."
When the cameraman asks if there was any suspicion behind the scenes of the WB series about the charges, Hicks replies, "No, gosh no."
Previously this week, TMZ reported that Collin's wife, Faye Grant, was allegedly blackmailing the actor with tapes that were recorded during a therapy session years ago, where Collins allegedly admits to molesting three different children between the ages of 11-13.
The news site is reporting that Faye has been using these tapes as leverage in her nasty divorce with the actor, and that she is trying to extort more money from him or else she would go public with the recordings.
The case is being investigated by both the NYPD and The LAPD, as they are now in possession of the video recordings. The investigating is being considered "inappropriate sexual contact with minors."
