'RHONJ' Dina Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita At War Following Teresa Giudice Prison Sentence: Bravo Housewives Cause Major Drama Behind The Scenes
Real Housewives of New Jersey is riding a wave of media attention since Teresa Giudice's prison sentence, but in-fighting amongst the women may halt the start of production of a new season. As MStars News reported, Bravo producers want to start filming in three weeks with all of the housewives being offered contracts to return. However, some of the cast is not too keen on working with one another.
"Bravo has made it clear that they're interested in Jacqueline Laurita as a full time housewife in addition to Dina Manzo," a source told Radar Online. "However, Dina has made it clear she does not want to work with Jacqueline."
Rumors had been swirling that Dina was the reason Jacqueline was not signed as a housewife this season, but producers now want Jacqueline back since viewers responded favorably to her storyline.
According to Radar Online, "One thing they are mulling over is possibly splitting time between Dina and Jacqueline by filming Dina for half a season, likely the half Teresa would still be around for-and then filming Jacqueline for the other half, once Teresa goes away."
One RHONJ cast member who is on the chopping block is Teresa's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. Bravo producers are reportedly looking to drop Melissa in favor of cousin Kathy Wakile.
"As Melissa's storyline was weak this season and, while Kathy was only at friend status, episodes she was on seemed to do better in the ratings," the Radar Online source continued. "They may offer Kathy full time and Melissa part time, or keep it as is. They are still debating what to do."
What do you think about the cast changes for next season? Do you want Jacqueline and Kathy back?
