George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin's First Public Appearance As Mr. & Mrs. Clooney; Amal's Dreamy Giambattista Valli Couture Dress

A day after tying the knot with Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin makes her first public appearance as Mrs. Clooney, hand-in-hand with her husband, in Venice, Italy. According to The Pret-a-Reporter, she stunned in a floral, embroidered couture dress by Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli. With long lace sleeves and bright floral detail, this dress is just dreamy!

Alamuddin clearly has impeccable taste, having chosen Oscar de la Renta to design her wedding gown. "George and I wanted a wedding that was romantic and elegant, and I can't imagine anyone more able than Oscar to capture this mood in a dress," she told Vogue in an interview. "Meeting him made the design process all the more magical, as he is so warm and such a gentleman."

Both Alamuddin and de la Renta decided on an off-the shoulder French lace gown with a hand-embroidered bodice of pearls and crystals. The gown also featured a full train and the final touch was a cathedral veil, which was adorned with Chantilly lace and bead-and-crystal embellishments.

De la Renta also provided Amal with her second dress, which she wore at the wedding reception. This dress was a Gatsby-style party frock, with silver and pearl beading, from de la Renta's Fall 2014 collection.

The couple said "I do" at a $4.6 million wedding celebration in Venice on September 27. According to The Sun, they are currently enjoying a secret honeymoon at a new London pad Clooney bought as a wedding gift to his wife.

"They have just bought a house in London and are really excited about beginning their new life together there as a married couple," a source told E! News. "George seems to have let Amal take care of decorating the new house in London. She has impeccable taste, which is very similar to his. It's lovely for them to have a completely new place to move into as a married couple."
