It's Survivor time again this week! The Coyopa tribe is back from a brutal tribal council where was Val was voted off. Baylor realizes she isn't as safe as she thinks. Josh tells John that he was the one who flipped and voted for Val, but they're five guys alliance is still strong despite his reservations about John.

Over at Hunahpu, while everyone is fixing the shelter Drew just goes to take a nap which really rubs everyone the wrong way. He must not be a viewer of Survivor because you always have to help out at camp to survive! That's basically rule #1.

It's time for the reward challenge with Hunahpu and especially Jeremy seeing Val was voted off. Jeremy calls out all the guys on Coyopa and says they're taking out the strong girls. John then admitted that he promised Jeremy he would look after Val which shocked the members of his alliance.

Reward challenge is a balancing game from one end to the next bringing blocks from side to side. Wes plays his father Keith because he doesn't think his dad can do it. In the end, Wes beats his dad and both get emotional. Wes picks Josh to go with his dad to exile because he thinks they would work well together since Wes and Josh work well together. Coyopa picks the fishing gear over comfort for their reward. Before leaving, John tells Jeremy that he tried everything he could to keep Val, but Jeremy doesn't buy it and vows to take John down.

Back at Hunahpu, Jeremy is so upset he tells everyone about John's past as a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves and how he made many racist and homophobic comments. Jeremy wants John gone because he feels he is running the other tribe. Julie, John's girlfriend, is crying because John has put her in a bad situation to get voted off next tribal.

Over at Exile, Keith and Josh are bonding while eating snails. Each guy is surprised that a guy from Louisiana and a gay guy from New York get along so well. Who Knew? Plus Keith makes sure we know there won't be any spooning going on...because of course that was the first thing that came to mind.

At night, John feeds the tribe with catfish he caught, but when he falls asleep Baylor tries to get the young guys to vote him out so she can form an alliance with them. The guys aren't budging from their alliance. The truth is when you have a strong alliance it's best to stick with it. When you don't, that's usually your downfall.

Time for the immunity challenge! Basically, it's a huge obstacle course where you have to get three balls in a basket in the end. Well...surprise surprise, Hunahpu wins their third immunity in a row. The best part is everyone on the tribe goes after John, especially Natalie who leads the charge. They all yell at him and bring up his racist and homophobic past. Fireworks are flying and it's probably the best scene in Survivor so far this year.

Coyopa comes back from the challenge doing what tribes usually do after they lose immunity...scramble! John says he regrets his past comments and that his closest ally in the tribe is gay. He also devises a plan to tell the girls he's going to vote out Dale, but really he's voting out Baylor. After talking with John and hearing that he has an idol, Josh wants to vote him out. Josh tries to get Wes, Baylor, and Alec to vote with him to blindside John. However, as always, you can never trust the Survivor editing. Josh in his interview to the camera is more undecided...or is her? Who really knows until the vote, which is one of the things that make this show so entertaining!

Now onto tribal council! Usually, it's the best part of the show because people on the chopping block come with guns blazing, but it was pretty disappointing this week. The tribals haven't been that great so far this year so I guess we'll have to settle for the great fight at the immunity challenge. Well after all was said and done John didn't use his idol and got sent packing. It was fitting actually because he was so cocky and sure of himself that he didn't even want to play the idol just on the off chance he would be voted out. See ya!

I know, I know host Jeff Probst wasn't mentioned this week, but honestly, he hasn't done anything of interest so far this season. Next week looks hilarious with Drew trying to take over the tribe. Yes THAT Drew who just sleeps all day and doesn't help out at camp.
