Nick Jonas, Pharrell Williams, and now hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs? It has already been confirmed that pop star Mariah Carey will replace Jennifer Lopez as a judge on the hit reality series "American Idol," but with the news that rocker Steven Tyler is also leaving the show, another seat at the infamous judge's table is now up for grabs.

Rumors have it that longtime judge Randy Jackson may also move on as an "American Idol" mentor, so looks like the whole judging cast for season 12 is getting totally revamped. While talks of contracts with former Disney star Nick Jonas and N.E.R.D front man Pharrell Williams have been confirmed by both artists, reports now claim that "American Idol" FOX producers are reaching out to Sean "Diddy" Combs to join the show

Diddy is not new to the "Idol" scene; he appeared as a guest mentor in season 11 and also performed on the show in March 2011.

FOX or Diddy have yet to make any comments about the "American Idol" gig, but as one insider source reported on showbizspy.com, the new judges best not be as popular as the "Triumphant" star Mariah Carey - "Mariah Carey wants to be the centerpiece of the new panel and the new look of the show," the source said. "[She] doesn't want to be overshadowed whatsoever."
