Tasha Smith On Tyler Perry's Baby News: "I Thought Tyler Perry Was 'Asexual'"

When Tasha Smith chatted one on one with Wendy Williams she told Wendy that she thought her pal, and boss Tyler Perry was “asexual.”

Smith is no stranger to acting in Perry's projects, she stars in multiple roles including, Why Did I Get Married?, Why Did I Get Married Too?, OWN series Tyler Perry’s Better or for Worse, Daddy's Little Girls, and more.

So when host Wendy asked Tasha, who is on the road promoting her new film, Addicted what was her reaction on the news that Tyler Perry and his girlfriend, Gelila Bekele, were expecting their first child together, the actress had a lot to say, but in a happy and good way.

“Stop it, Wendy! I used to think he was asexual. I didn’t think he had sex … at all! No but seriously … stop it, Wendy! No, seriously. He’s like an uncle that never has sex. I was just shocked and I’m so happy for him; he’s going to be a daddy. I used to think that he would just be the uncle-daddy, you know?”

In regards to having her own kids, Tasha told the host, “And Wendy, we are still trying to have a baby, ok? We are having sex all the time. As a matter of fact, we just got done. Up in your green room. I mean, why not, I’m ovulating. But Wendy, seriously, it’s driving me crazy. And if it doesn’t happen this time, will you carry for me?”

Addicted hits theaters Friday, October 10.
