Tina Fey And Jennifer Garner Open Up About What Drives Them And Motherhood In ‘Elle’ Magazine’s November Issue
Elle magazine's November 2014 issue has not one, but three fabulous women as cover stars. Two of the eight Elle cover girls include Tina Fey and Jennifer Garner. Garner opened up about motherhood and Fey revealed what drives her in the new "Women In Hollywood" issue.
Dallas Buyers Club actress Jennifer Garner has been married to Ben Affleck since 2005 and they have three adorable children. When shooting her cover photo, the 42-year-old star revealed that her children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel changed her entire outlook on life.
"My ambition shifted when I had kids in a way that I didn't anticipate. I became more ambitious for my life as a whole, and for that kind of health and happiness of the overall family unit. And that very much includes my husband and very much includes me," Jennifer told Elle.
"My husband is always the one saying to me, 'You have to work, you have to work. This is part of who you are. We'll figure it out.' That's powerful, when your partner has that serious mantra."

Mean Girls and 30 Rock alum Tina Fey is the mother of two girls, Penelope and Alice. She has been married to composer and director Jeff Richmond since 2001 and is clearly a success in Hollywood having created and starred in her own show 30 Rock and most recently starring in This Is Where I Leave You. But the thing that drives her most is the nerdy kid inside her.
"I'm not sure I know, but having been an obedient and nerdy kid, I'm very driven to receive praise. If I were a smarter person, I'd be driven to receive money. I'm a dope — all I want is, 'That was real good. Looks like you guys worked real hard on that.' It's always parent-teacher conference day in my mind," the 44-year-old actress told the publication.
The other cover star is Guardians of the Galaxy actress Zoe Saldana. The November issue also includes black-and-white spreads of Annette Bening, Brie Larson, Elizabeth Banks, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessica Lange.
