Susan Sarandon Romance With 37-Year-Old Boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin- Actress Comments on 31-Year Age Difference

Critics might think that it's weird that Susan Sarandon and her boyfriend have a 31-year age gap but we think that the actress is ageless. The 68-year-old star has been receiving some harsh criticism after going public with her 37-year-old boyfriend, Jonathan Bricklin, but Sarandon doesn't seem to mind.

She spoke out to Hello! Magazine, where she commented on her relationship with Bricklin for the first time, saying that age has no value when you are in love with a person.

"It's the soul of a person that interests me," Sarandon explained. "When you are in love, the question of age, sex, color no longer hold any importance."

The couple began seeing each other in 2010 when they met while both were on a trip to Chile.  The two instantly connected and have been romantically involved ever since. They even are business partners together, owning the SPiN Ping-Pong lounges in the New York City.

Sarandon also spoke to the magazine about their business ventures together, saying, "Our collaboration extends into several areas." She also states, "We're not an ordinary couple," mention to the mag that they don't live together, despite having dated for over four years.

According to Page Six, Susan split from Tim Robbins, who she dated for 23. They broke up a few months prior to her hitting it off with Bricklin.

Sarandon is the mother of three children; Jack, 25, and Miles, 22, who she shares with Robbins, and is also the mother to 29-year-old daughter Eva Amurri Martino, with Franco Amurri.
