'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley Cheating Scandal: Baby Daddy Denies Cheating On Reality Star While She Was In Prison

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood spilled some pretty serious secrets during the Ask the Moms special, which aired last week and brought all the girls from Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 back to the stage to answer questions. One of the things Amber mentioned during the show was that her ex-boyfriend and father to her daughter, Gary Shirley, cheated on her while she was serving a 17-month prison sentence in relation to drug charges.

While the star took to the special to air her former lover's dirty laundry, 27-year-old Gary is speaking out on his Facebook about the allegations. Gary is telling his side of the story, saying he let Amber know before he even started dating his current girlfriend, Kristina Anderson, so the cheating never happened.

"I told her about my girl 5 days after I official started dating her," Gary wrote about Anderson. "And I told her in front of my girl friend over the phone cause I didn't wanna lie!"

While he tries to set the rumors straight, he also mentions that Amber made up the allegation to play the "victim."

"Plz be aware that most of what she has said is false!" Gary writes. "Amber unfortunately has to put a spin on things to make her the victim plus it helps her dog me a lil!"

He feels that the reality star is making these false claims about him in order to help sell her new book Never Too Late.

"By all means plz continue to lie and sell your book which also lies about me cheating, which I did do 1 time, but was just a kiss and I did it cause I was breaking up w Amber anyways," Gary explains.

But an insider has spoken out to RadarOnline, saying that Amber was telling the truth about Gary during the MTV special and that Gary is the one that is being untrue now.

"Amber knows she didn't lie and isn't letting Gary bring her down," the source explained.
