Phillip Phillips' Girlfriend: Fun Facts about Hannah Blackwell [PHOTOS]

Ever since winning 'American Idol' back in May, Phillip Phillips fans have been wondering, "Just who is Hannah Blackwell?" Well, she happens to be Phillips' girlfriend, and she's openly willing to share personal info about herself and their relationship with fans through Twitter. Check out some fun facts about Phillips' beautiful beau:

Blackwell is a nursing student at Georgia Southern University and plans on graduating in 2014. In the meantime she nannies four children.

Like 21-year-old Phillips, Blackwell reigns from Leesburg, GA. She graduated from Deerfield High School in 2008.

Blackwell and Phillip met while volunteering at a women and children's shelter, and they have now been dating for about three years.

Blackwell's family - consisting of father David, mother Kayanne, and brother JD - have been involved in this volunteer work for years, helping thousands of people in need by giving food, providing clothes, building homes, and even traveling to Haiti. Blackwell's very close with her fam.

Regarding their first "romantic" interaction, Blackwell tweeted about Phillips:

@HannahBlackwell: "He was a little more nervous asking for our 1st date ha. We were so awkward!"

Blackwell is an animal lover - she has three dogs (a lab, a West Highland Terrier, and an English Cocker Spaniel) and owns two Arabian horses.

Although not a musician herself, Blackwell sings along with Phillips occasionally for fun. She also helped to write one of his songs.

Blackwell was a strong supporter of Phillips throughout his entire "American Idol" stint, showing up for almost every one of his "American Idol" performances. She actually became close friends with fellow contestants Heejun Han, Colton Dixon, and Joshua Ledet from chilling on the set.

Blackwell claims "Volcano" and "Movin' Out" were two of her most favorite Phillip performances on "Idol."

Blackwell has been a strong presence alongside Phillips throughout the "American Idol Live" tour (which goes until Sept. 2). She even appears in Phillips' music video for "Home" (a new single which has already sold over 500,000 copies). Blackwell's currently working on plans to stay in L.A. now that Phillips spends much of his time there.
