Monica Lewinsky Joins Twitter- Followers Tweet Some Questionable Messages As Former Intern Tries To End Cyber Bullying

Monica Lewinsky has just started a new chapter in her life. The former intern who had a now infamous rendezvous with President Bill Clinton, says that her new mission in life is to end cyber-bullying, and one of her first steps in doing so is getting on Twitter.

According to CNN, the former tabloid magnet is gearing up to reenter public life after a 13-year absence and she did so in big way yesterday. Not only did she join one of the biggest social media sites in the world, but she also spoke publicly for the first time in 13 years.

Lewinsky is taking her personal experiences with cyber bullying and hoping that by speaking out she can help others who are going through the same thing. She just spoke at the Forbes 30 Under 30 summit, and spoke about her new mission to end cyber bullying.

"Having survived myself, what I want to do now is help other victims of the shame game survive, too," Monica explained. " I want to put my suffering to good use and give purpose to my past."

While some may view Lewinsky's new endeavor is a courageous one, it doesn't seem like everyone, especially people on Twitter are so receptive of the cause. Users of the social media site are targeting Lewinsky and even sending hurtful tweets her way.
