Every game is important in the UEFA Champions League and this 2014 tournament has proven this point many times, especially this week. When Arsenal takes on Anderlecht today, both sides are sure to take their opponents seriously, as each team needs a win. Arsenal's first-string keeper Wojciech Szczesny was red-carded in the last Champions League match, meaning the untested 22-year-old Argentine Martinez will start. Arsenal's outspoken manager, Arsene Wenger, turns 65 today, but his birthday isn't the focus of his day.

"It is a big game for us and I just dedicate all my energy to getting things right to perform, because at the moment I feel there is a difference between the quality of our performances and the points we get," he said, according to BBC Sports.

While Wenger is focused on the quality of play, Anderlecht manager Besnik Hasi is actually thinking about quantity - in means of amount of games played. Comparing Arsenal's EPL schedule to the Belgian league is quite polarizing in terms of the amount of games, but Hasi is confident that his young team will be ready today.

"We are a very young, talented team. But for us it will be a mistake if we are thinking that because Arsenal are missing some players and have not been at their top level in their competition, they will not be difficult opponents," he said. "That mistake will not happen here."
