'Pretty Little Liars' Creator Announces "A" Will Be Revealed Before Season 7
Tuesday night's Pretty Little Liars Halloween special called "We Love You To Death" was fun for fans to watch and full of juicy details. The most important thing we learned... "A" will be revealed... eventually.
ABC Family hosted a fan appreciation special surrounding Pretty Little Liars' Halloween episode, as a preview to the second half of the new season for the hit drama. In between each of the actresses and actors' personal stories and on-set secrets, the show's creator revealed the greatest secret of all... "A" will be unveiled before the final season.
"I think fans got a little worried when they found out we were going seven seasons, because they thought maybe they're going to have to wait that long to find out who 'A' is, but I am promising you that you don't," creator Marlene King said during the special. "The identity of big 'A' is going to be revealed before season seven starts."
Executive producer Oliver Goldstick revealed, "There is an endgame, there is an 'A,' there is a future for these girls beyond Rosewood. There is life after high school. There's still more to be explored."
At the end of the Halloween special, there was a brief preview for the Christmas episode that will air on Tuesday, Dec. 9 and mark the second half of season five of the dramatic series. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Christmas will be a time full of laughter and cheer; instead there will be a lot of darkness and fear.
As for Mona Vanderwaal's part in the Christmas special, she will be very present. "She's going to be the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future," Janel Parrish, who plays Mona, told TV Line. "She gets to mess with Alison-and in a fabulous costume, I might add."
