How I Met Your Mother actress Ashley Williams (who played one of Ted's loves, Victoria) is officially a mom! The 35-year-old star and her husband Neal Dodson welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into the world on Sunday, Oct. 5.

People exclusively reported that the couple had their first child together, a son named Gus Williams Dodson. Gus was born at home and weighed 8lbs., 8 oz., and measured 20.5 inches long.

The Something Borrowed actress revealed that during her at-home birth, she listened to an Alexi Murdoch song. "He's gorgeous and healthy. So far he's soothable and calm. Knock on wood!" she exclusively told People about her new baby.

Ashley is a certified doula herself, so she was calm when surrounded by a team of midwives, a doula and a chiropractor as she gave birth in her own house. "We felt so safe and so lucky to have had such incredible support," the star revealed to the publication.

In July the Scents and Sensibility actress announced her pregnancy on her Twitter account saying, "This is FOR REAL. So many reasons to dance. #babydodson." She added another picture that read, "My family definitely made me play pin the sperm on the egg tow days ago. #weird #babydodson."

"After years of waiting for the perfect moment to have a child, we decided to go with this moment instead. And we couldn't be more thrilled," Ashley told People in July about her baby news.

Now that the happy couple has their bundle of joy in their arms, Ashley has revealed why they named him Gus and it is sweet and simple. "His name is Gus. For no other reason than: Who doesn't love a guy named Gus?" she revealed to People this month.

Ashley's son won't be the only boy in the family however. The actress's older sister Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who is married to country singer Brad Paisley, have two sons, Jasper and Huck to keep little Gus company.
