Heidi Montag Gives Opinion On Renee Zellweger's New Appearance, Talks Plastic Surgery
Who better to give advice on Renee Zellweger's questionable new then reality star Heidi Montag –– who has undergone her own media scrutiny regarding plastic surgery. The former Hills star, 28, opened up to Extra on Thursday, Oct. 23, explaining her "empathy" towards the Bridget Jones Diary actress.
"For me, when I see people who look totally different, I have an empathy. I feel like I know why at least I did it, and it kind of brings it back to that time in my life. It's just, I feel for them," Montag revealed. As for if she believes Zellweger's statement that she is just aging well, well that's another story. "I don't know if Renee Zellweger just aged like she said, I don't really know."
As MStarsNews previously reported, Zellweger stepped out at the Elle Women in Hollywood event Monday, Oct. 20, looking seemingly different. The star responded by saying, "I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," the 45-year-old actress told People.
In Jan. 2010, Montag revealed to People that she had undergone ten cosmetic surgery procedures in one day. Among these procedures were: brow-lifts, ear-pinning, chin reduction, a second rhinoplasty and a second breast augmentation.
Although it seems Zellweger hasn't undergone nearly the same amount of surgeries – if any – that Montag has done, the reality star can relate to stars that do.
"I hope it's the right decision for them. I hope they feel good about it," Montag mused to Extra. "That's the most important thing. My heart goes out them and I think like, 'Why did you do that? Are you happy with it?' It's a hard life-changing decision when anyone does it. Obviously, they're unhappy with something. I hope that they [find] their happiness."
