'Once Upon A Time,' 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Castle,' 'Modern Family' To Get Extra Episodes: ABC Series Orders Additional Scripts For Network Shows
It's that time of year when television networks give addition episode orders to some of our favorite TV shows. But while these shows are lucky, some of our other faves fall to the wayside and get overlooked for more scripts. ABC has just announced a few of their shows that have been granted full-season orders while they are remaining vague on some others. The TV network has just given seven of their shows some additional episodes, including Grey's Anatomy, Once Upon a Time and Castle. In addition to those dramas, Resurrection and Modern Family have also received additional episodes.
E! News is reporting that now the 11th season of Grey's Anatomy will round out at 24 episodes, two more than were originally ordered, and that Castle and Once Upon a Time will each finish their seasons off with one addition scripted episode, bringing their totals to 23.
Other drama series like Resurrection will also add one episode to their season order as well, giving them a total of 14.
For fans of the comedy block ABC has established Wednesday nights, Modern Family, The Middle, The Goldbergs, and Black-ish have all received news that their seasons will be extended.
We will have even more laughter in our lives as the quartet have all been given the order for two more episodes each, according to Deadline.
But other comedies on the network aren't out of the woods yet, as news on Selfie and Manhattan Love Story has yet to come in. We're still holding our breaths hoping ABC gives them a little more time ...
