USA's 'White Collar' Season 6 Spoilers: Will Tim DeKay, Matt Bomer Become 'Father & Son?'

Now that USA Network has announced the official air date, a few teasers have been released about the upcoming final season 6 of White Collar. In a six serialized episode arc, will leading men Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay become "father and son" before saying goodbye to their buddy/crime caper series?

As we mentioned here, the stylish procedural/buddy drama centers on the dynamic relationship between the cunning FBI agent Peter Burke (DeKay) and the smooth con artist Neal Caffrey (Bomer). In order to be released from prison, Neal works alongside Burke as a criminal informant as they solve cases side-by-side. Unfortunately, Neal walks a fine line between rehabilitation and incarceration as he dreams about pulling off one last con.

In the fifth season cliffhanger, Neal was on the outside when a black bag was put over his head. Though he was kidnapped against his will, questions will arise about his whereabouts because of tracking anklet removed. Will the FBI agent have to hunt down the ex-fugitive, just like he did years ago?

According to TVLine, viewers should expect a lot of fun with the second episode, "where Peter and Neal must pose as father and son; damn if Tim DeKay doesn't sell it."

In a previous interview, Dekay described how Peter and Neal see each other, "Sometimes Peter is Neal's older brother or dad; other times Neal's status is higher than Peter's, depending on the environment. I think Peter would do nearly anything to keep Neal from going back to prison."

But where will Peter's wife Elizabeth Burke (Tiffani Thiessen) during this time though? The site adds, "She is still very much D.C.-bound as the season opens, with her and Peter dedicated to managing the medium-distance relationship. Until something rather unanticipated happens."

The final season of White Collar begins November 6 on USA. Readers, are you excited to see Peter and Neal as father and son?
