LeBron James And Savannah Brinson Welcome Their First Daughter: Couple Name Their Baby Zhuri
She's finally here! Princess Zhuri has made her way into the world as her father, King James, takes the throne back as a Cleveland Cavalier. According to The Huffington Post, LeBron James and his wife, Savannah Brinson, welcomed their third child and first daughter Zhuri last week.
Baby Zhuri was reportedly born in James and Savannah's hometown of Akron, Ohio.
The couple, married in September 2013, announced they were expecting another child in August while vacationing in Greece, and on their babymoon revealed their daughter's name for the first time.
"Zhuri hurry up and get here so your daddy and 2 brothers can annoy you! Lol," the former Miami Heat star wrote at that time.
James, 29, and Brinson, 28, were high school sweethearts and have two sons: 10-year-old LeBron Jr. and 7-year-old Bryce Maximus.
Before his daughter arrived, James shared details about fatherhood during an interview on CNN's Unguarded with Rachel Nichols.
"There is no booklet where no one can tell you on how to raise your kids. And you know, every single day is always challenging. And for my kids even more challenging, because their dad is famous," he revealed in late September.
"But I feel like the morals and the goals and the things that I teach them I just want to lay the path for them and let them, at the end of the day, make their own decisions," he adds. "And hopefully, the ... way that I've been teaching them will, when they get to a fork in the road, they will know what's right and not go left."
Congrats, guys! Welcome to the world, Zhuri James!
