'Captain America 3,' 'Black Panther,' 'Avengers: Infinity War,' Make Marvel's Phase 3 Announcements!
At a special presentation in Hollywood, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made an epic announcement unveiling their upcoming superhero flicks. In their slate of films, moviegoers should get ready for Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Thor 3, and many more.
According to IGN, Avengers director Joss Whedon, Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson ,and Captain American:The Winter Solider's Anthony and Joe Russo brothers were all in attendance with press and a massive crowd of fans. First up, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans were there to introduce Get on Up star Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, T'Challa, the first black superhero.
Even though a solo Black Widow movie wasn't in the lineup, there will be Captain Marvel movie, starring super heroine Carol Danvers. We can't wait to find out who will land the female lead. There is also a search for a director currently underway.
Following off the heels of Kill Bill, Avengers 3 will be split into two movies after all. Based on the Infinity Gauntlet crossover event, the superhero team will have to reunite once more against the warlord Thanos, who has gathered all the Infinity gems.
According to Newsarama, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston will reprise their roles as Thor and Loki. The third installment is described to be "the end of all things." James Gunn also appeared via satellite to announce the release date of his sequel.
