J. Crew Debuts Sophia Webster's Dreamy Holiday Shoe Collection!

Just in time to make our holiday season brighter, London shoe/accessories designer Sophia Webster collaborates with J. Crew on a third collection. Webster, who created a line of shoes for the brand last spring, is back with a bold, bright and playful seven-piece holiday collection that you're going to fall in love with!

According to Self Magazine, the collection features patterns and fabric from J. Crew's signature pieces to inject the retailer's aesthetic. Known for her bright colors and whimsical embellishments, the collection will include seven pairs of stilettos that range from matte gold jacquard peep-toe booties to a pink and black pointed-toe pump complete with a black tassel. This fierce collection will take you from autumn date nights to holiday cocktail parties and straight into the New Year. The best part: they're all mid- to low-heeled, so your feet won't be aching by the end of the night!

J. Crew women's design director Tom Mora tells Fashionista, "We basically show [Sophia] the boards, our color palette and prints, and we start identifying specific prints we want to use that we love from the collection. She in turn will mix them with her own fabrications as well, metallics, patent, cut-out polka dots and a lot of [other] techniques and patterning that are done through the leather itself. She'll come back to us with sketches, and we'll look at them, do two or three revisions. The nice thing is that the turnaround time is less because the shoes are made in Brazil."

It's no surprise J. Crew is calling this collection "the stuff shoe fairy tales are made of." Priced between $320 and $695, the collection is currently available online and in stores.
