Jill Duggar Dillard and Derick Dillard Spend The Day Together Before They Say 'I Do' [WATCH]

Before Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard tied the knot, the couple decided to skip out on tradition and see each other on their wedding day, June 21, 2014.

"Babe, you look absolutely amazing," Derick, 25, said, "Wow. I've never seen you so gorgeous. I love you."

"He looked amazing," Jill, 23, said, "As cute as ever."

According to People, Derick saw his new wife for the first time in her custom-designed Allure Romance gown from Ava Laurénne Bride in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where co-owner Wendy Rivera, along with a seamstress, helped Jill make her dress appropriate for her big day.

Jill and Derick spent the whole day together except for the getting ready part.

"We tried different gowns and cuts," Rivera explained. "She wanted something modest, but not predictable, and the result was perfect."

In Tuesday night's special (October 28) Jill's parents, Jim Bob, 50, and Michelle, 49, along with friends, family and the Duggar siblings prepared for the wedding and had some emotional moments, as Derick's mother was still in the hospital battle cancer.

"It couldn't be a more beautiful day today," Michelle shared with People, "Today is the longest day of the year, which makes it all the more fun that we get to enjoy the wedding all day long. My mascara is waterproof, luckily."

Jim Bob said, "I am going to need several hankies before the day's over."
