Aaron Paul Scolds Toys R Us For Pulling 'Breaking Bad' Action Figures

Former Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul, 35, ranted on his Twitter account recently about the news of Toys R Us removing controversial Breaking Bad action figures from its shelves.

"Wait, so @ToysRUs pulled all of the Breaking Bad figures from their shelves and still sells Barbie? Hmmmm...I wonder what is more damaging," Paul wrote on Twitter in the wake of the news Oct. 23.

Paul continued to criticize the decision: "And what about all of the video games you sell ToysRUs? Do you still sell those? Florida mom really messed it up for everyone."

As MStars News previously reported, Florida mother Susan Schrivjer started a petition to stop the store from selling the products: "Anything to do with drugs is not doing the right thing. I just think that they need to look at their visions and values, as they call them."

As NPR conveyed, the action figures — intended for adults — include a teacher-turned-meth dealer and were no longer being sold on the website or in stores: "Let's just say the action figures have taken an indefinite sabbatical."

The toys are based on the award-wining AMC television series about a high-school chemistry teacher turned crystal meth dealer (Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston) and his druggie sidekick (Jesse Pinkman, played by Paul).

The White character even came with a complete bag of fake crystal meth. Schrivjer's petition and signatures gained national attention.

Paul has now been on the road to reverse the decision made by Toys R Us and struck a counter-petition to get the action figures back on the shelves:
