Lady Gaga's Intimate Twitter Confession of Pain and Disappointment
Lady Gaga's posted a link on Twitter connected to her honest confession on Littlemonsters.com. Gaga revealed her vulnerable side in front of her 28 million followers. Gaga titled the diary-like post "A letter to my sweet fans".
In the intimate letter, Gaga described the past year as a year of challenge and a time where her spirit of freedom and joy was chained. But the letter came at a time when Gaga felt set free of all the past behind her and she wanted to share about it to her fans whom she endearingly calls her Little Monsters.
"Today is a really happy day for me. The past year was a challenge, and I'm so happy to have my spirit back. I felt in chains at times," Gaga wrote.
Gaga exposed the different problems she had faced including butting heads with her label, enduring Madonna's demeaning criticism, betrayal from best friends, and being misused by those she trusted.
"I've grown and left most of these things behind, the monsters of fame are very real. But I wanted to thank you for [bearing] with me a little bit. Today's film is what happens when there is love and respect amongst creatives, teams, management. This project was run solely by the Haus of Gaga, Atom Factory, and Steven Klein's fantastic team."
Gaga is able to recognize the important people around her that are not after her money, fame and power.
"I am feeling blessed to have removed those from my life driven by money and luxury, its all about the art of it. I feel free today. Thank you for always being there for me monsters."
With a newfound strength, Gaga is pushing ahead towards her new album ARTPOP, which is expected to release early 2012.
