We recently saw some promising reviews of the new Jake Gyllenhaal movie, Nightcrawler, which is looking like one of the best, darkest films of the year. The acclaimed actor takes yet another step away from more contemporary Hollywood films with this project, transforming himself into a sociopathic aspiring crime journalist that is willing to go to extreme lengths to nab a story. Set in the late hours of the night in L.A. and full of violence, dark humor, and incredible storytelling, Nightcrawler is definitely a great Halloween movie to see in theaters!

Daniel Radcliffe's newest movie is a horror, comedy of sorts, in which he plays a young man who's blamed for his girlfriend's rape and murder, resulting in him gaining supernatural powers and growing devilish horns out of his head. Fittingly, the movie is entitled Horns and looks like the perfect Halloween flick to see in theaters!

Keeping in the spirit of Halloween (obviously), we recently reported on a psychological thriller entitled Before I Go to Sleep. Starring Nicole Kidman as a woman who loses her memory every time she falls asleep due to a mysterious accident, with Colin Firth and Mark Strong as her husband and doctor respectfully, this film will definite spook you in theaters.
