Mrs. Carter revealed details of her big day!!

When it came to her wedding dress, Lauren says it only took her one dress to know that it was the one for her.

“I originally had a designer making a custom dress for me for me but because the wedding date changed she didn’t have enough time to finish, so I went to a wedding boutique in Beverly Hills, and the first dress I saw and that I chose was the one I wore.”

She said it was cool having all the members of the Backstreet Boys gang their to share her special moment with Nick.

“I didn’t even think about that being crazy at all because I am not a fan of theirs. I don’t see them like ‘Oh my God! All the Backstreet Boys are at my wedding!' I know it’s strange for people to hear that, especially for fans, but there are no awe-inspiring feelings for me."

She adds, "I do love them all and they’re a part of our lives and we were happy that they all came and it just shows that we are a family, even more so than some of our family members are."

Lauren admitted that she wasn't in shock by the singers, but says, “If Metallica were at my wedding, I’d be like, ‘OH MY GOD!’”

The newlywed revealed that her new husband was the person to pick their first song to dance as a married couple.

“Nick picked out the song, he’s really really good at music catalogs and he chose a song by the old ’60s band The Turtles, “You Showed Me.” He sang it to me while we were slow dancing and I think I blacked out.”

Lauren says her favorite part to her special day was, spending time alone with her man.

“The one thing I love that we did was right after the ceremony we had a cocktail hour for everyone, but we went upstairs, just us, and we got to have a glass of champagne and just be by ourselves for 15 minutes, I remember that so vividly and that was the best thing we decided to do."

She continues, "We were like ‘Oh my God, did that just happen? This is crazy!’ It’s so simple but when you’re getting married it’s such an emotional, insanely nerve-wracking event.”

As for eloping, Lauren said, “I thought about eloping along the way when my wedding date kept changing, like, ‘Let’s just elope! I’m over it.’ But in the end I’m glad that I did it because it is very special and something you’ll remember forever and tell your children about and look back on fondly. I also think it’s a reminder of why you got married in the first place, it’s an act of love in front of witnesses and all your loved ones.”
