Julianne Hough's Week Seven ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Outfit Is Ivy Green In Honor Of The Halloween Special

Week after week, Julianne Hough gives fans something more than dancing to talk about on season 19 of Dancing With the Stars. Her killer style keeps fans hooked and coming back for more. The former DWTS pro channeled her inner villain with her Halloween-inspired look this week.

Julianne looked to villain Poison Ivy for her DWTS week seven look. The night was a "Halloween Night" theme on Monday and Julianne stuck with the program. Her gorgeous floor-length green gown screamed Ivy when she was sitting at the judge's table.

"We loved this Alberta Ferreti dress and have been waiting for the perfect moment to wear it; the Halloween theme meant that we needed something a little richer and I didn't want to go down the obvious black route," Julianne told People.

"[Stylist] Anita [Patrickson] and I were inspired the fabulous Poison Ivy character but we had to rein it in a little so as not to get too literal. The leaves Riawna [Capri, her hairstylist] added to my hair were minimal enough to feel clean, chic and fashion-y, but outside the box enough to add a little character to my look." Even though all the dancers rocked over-the-top costumes on Monday, Julianne tried to find the perfect balance and it was great. "The biggest challenge was keeping her look fashion forward and not too costume-y. It all came together last minute, actually, with Julianne's genius suggestion of adding something cool into her hair," Julianne's stylist Anita Patrickson explained to People. Riawna Capri, Julianne's hairstylist liked the challenge of creating a Halloween look through the star's hair. "Adding in some leaves to her hair was the best part! It's not everyday you can throw beautiful green leaves in your hair and have it look awesome," she said.

The hairstylist teased Julianne's look on her Instagram account before the DWTS episode saying, "Tonight's #DWTS final look, a little sprinkle of Poison Ivy for @juleshough."
