Janel Parrish Teases Her 'Romeo And Juliet' Routine For 'Dancing With The Stars' — Plus, What Did Val Chmerkovskiy Do For Her Birthday?

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy take the stage tonight for Week 8 of Dancing with the Stars Season 19. The couple is one of the teams to beat, but they aren't letting the stress get in the way of their chemistry. The duo will take on a romantic Romeo and Juliet routine for the "Dynamic Duos" theme tonight ... and what did Val do for her birthday?

This week the pair will be doing a contemporary routine, which is in Janel's comfort zone.

"I feel a lot more comfortable in contemporary because I don't have to work on my frame, which is my biggest weakness, but Val isn't a contemporary dancer, so he's been stressing about the choreography," Janel said in her People blog. "However, I think the choreography he's created is beautiful."

For their contemporary routine, which usually lends itself to more romantic routines, Janel and Val will be portraying Romeo and Juliet.

"It's Dynamic Duo week and we're playing Romeo and Juliet, so it's going to be beautiful and romantic. I'm very excited," the Pretty Little Liars actress revealed.

Janel and Val have been rumored to be dating outside the show, attending Halloween parties together — wearing matching costumes — and kissing, so the love story of Romeo and Juliet should be easy for them to show on stage.

"I'm really looking forward to our contemporary piece. I'm going to love dancing it with Val, and I think it's going to end up being my favorite one so far!" the 26-year-old wrote on her blog.

Despite being happy about her routine this week, she wasn't excited that she had to practice on her birthday, which was Oct. 30. Her partner Val, however, made it up to her by surprising her with flowers and balloons.

"It's been insane, but you've got to do what you've got to do to get things ready! Val was great, though. He first surprised me with a bouquet of flowers and 26 balloons, and then I went home and there were more flowers on my doorstep. I think he felt bad that he had to rehearse me so hard on my birthday!" she revealed.
