News is now surfacing of rap mogul Suge Knight's hospitalization Friday after he apparently passed out in his Las Vegas jail cell possibly from the blood clot doctors found close to his lungs.

According to his attorney, Richard Schonfeld, the 49-year-old CEO and founder of Black Kapital Records and former CEO of Death Row Records is being taken care of at the University Medical Center, as doctors have now discovered a blood clot close to his lungs.

As Mstars previously reported, Knight was shot at a VMAs pre-party in late August. The rap producer was released from an L.A. hospital at the time after suffering from six gunshot wounds.

"Suge was shot six times in the stomach two months ago — the likely cause of the blood clot," Lawyer Julie Raye, told NBC News of his recent medical scare.

Knight was being held at the Las Vegas jail for being charged with one count of robbery — which could get him 30 years in prison — with comedian Katt Williams as the the two chased down a photographer in Beverly Hills this September.

It's reported that Knight "is doing better" and is said to be released in a few days. According to Clark County court records Knights bail was set Monday at $75,000. He is also due in court for a status check on Thursday.

As for where Katt Williams head has been at during their jail time, "So when they took me into the precinct, Step 1, get me to blame Suge, that's not happening. I'd rather take it then that, don't be silly."
