Full Control's 'Space Hulk: Ascension Edition' Launches On PC, Mac, & Linux! [WATCH]

Danish independent studio Full Control has announced a launch date for its latest 3D digital based strategy game. Get ready for Space Hulk: Ascension Edition to be released on Windows, Mac, and Linux on Steam.

Based on the official website, the narrative is set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of ancient vessels lost in the graveyard of outer space. Single player and multiplayers will lead a small army of fearless Space Marine Terminators in a deadly fight for survival. Prepare to face off against hordes of a predatory alien race named Genestealers.

Thomas Hentschel Lund, CEO of Full Control, mentions in his statement, "We are so excited to announce the release date and pre-order for the next installment of our Space Hulk game. In Space Hulk: Ascension Edition, we have taken player feedback and built a new experience, with deep RPG style progression that takes the claustrophobic, tense experience in the battle against Genestealers to a whole new level".

Not only will gamers have huge amounts of content, with103 unique missions spread out through 3 campaign chapters, there will be new enemies and weapons for players to use. See if you can outlast the Space Wolves and Blood Angels with your new combi-weapos. Gamers will also have a chance to customize their squad into hardened veterans.

Full Control has also released a developer's diary taking gamers on a mission:

Andreas Sorensen, Community Manager, explains Flash missions, "Basically you can take a mission in-between, and it's kind of gamble. Every time you start a game, it will be a different mission. You don't really know what's to come there."

According to Game N Guide, gamers who who pre-order on will get a 10% discount, plus those that own the original Space Hulk will receive an additional 15% discount. Space Hulk: Deathwing will be available for Xbox One and PS4 sometime in 2015.
