Rihanna Oprah Interview, Cries over Chris Brown: Some Fans React Harshly
Reports and rumors concerning ex-flames Rihanna and Chris Brown have been infiltrating social media outlets ever since 2009, when Brown was charged with domestic abuse after having physically assaulted the "Disturbia" songstress. In a recent interview with Oprah, Rihanna opened up about her former relationship with the R&B singer, and gets teary eyed when claiming that she ultimately "lost her best friend." While some fans hit the web to express their support for the "Where Have you Been" star, others reacted quite harshly, claiming that they are sick of hearing about the "Rihanna and Chris Brown" ordeal and that Rihanna is a "bad role model." Watch the sneak peak video of the interview featured on ET, then read some of the more vicious comments below:
"How long is she going milk this and play the innocent battered wife. She's got tattoos of guns on her body. She is no innocent good girl."
"Can someone please put a muzzle on this f***ing attention-starved mediocrity? We get it. You like pseudo-thugs with room temp IQs. Fascinating. Now get back to your penicillin regimen and your creepy weirdo tool of a dad. Jeezus!"
"Jesus woman, just get back together with the guy already. We all know you're going to."
"She so clearly suffers from battered woman's syndrome. and she clearly doesn't recognize it. that's some sad sh@#$."
"Unbelievable Rihanna is STILL making excuses for 'the monster.' She'll get another beating from her 'best friend' Chris Brown as soon as he lets her back in his life."
"Is this for real? Okay, I get that she has lost her mind or maybe she didnt have one in the first place but has she forgotten that zillions of girls/women are listening to her?"
"Lift the blinders, is she for real???? forget the hair dyes, use the doe for a real head doctor, please....."
"I must have missed something. I thought Oprah was pro-woman. Rihanna is some kind of man tool? Man toy? Just the classic man punching bag. And fragile, oh so fragile. I'll not watch Oprah anymore. I beg you to get this girl out of public eye and into therapy where she can get some safety and help."
"Her crying all these years over someone who has proven to be an out of control hothead and abuser, is disappointing....she isn't putting out a good message to young girls here..."
"She's not the one to help him, she needs to help herself first. Getting physically abused by your loved one requires time to cope and get stable again. She's been crazy ever since that beating and been sleeping with anything and anyone under the sun."
"Hasn't she milked this enough OVER and OVER again......? She boosted her sales and made many appearances on TV and covers thanks to Chris Brown. Now she wants an Oscar for her crocodile tears. These people are disgusting..!"
"Her behavior shows a lack of self-respect...sadly, the perfect victim for an abuser."
