WWE Rumors: Team Cena at Survivor Series, Mick Foley as General Manager?
WWE will air its Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday, November 23, and the main event will pit Team John Cena against Team Authority. Vince McMahon returned earlier this week to announce the stipulation that the Authority is out of power for good if Team Authority loses.
The teams are not complete yet, as so far only Seth Rollins and Kane are confirmed for Team Authority, while John Cena and Dolph Ziggler are confirmed for the 15-time champion's team. But according to new reports, another member could join Cena's team on Monday Night Raw next week.
Cena vs. Ryback has been officially booked for the show, and the expectation is this match will lead to an angle in which Ryback joins Cena's team. The most likely course of action, and we're just speculating here, would be for the heels to attack the two men, who would clear the ring and stand tall together.
If the Authority does lose, then someone would have to step in to fill the void. Could that person be Mick Foley? Here's what the man himself had to say on his very active Facebook page.
"When asked a few months ago on social media how I would feel about another run as a WWE General Manager, I said. 'I don't think I will be asked, and would turn down the offer if I was.'
Well, after my appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago, I've kind of changed my tune. That appearance energized me, and made me feel like I just might have something to offer #WWE on a more regular basis.
I think there is a chance I'll be asked about becoming GM within the next year - and if asked... I think I'd do it.
How would you feel about another Foley GM run?"
