CW's 'The Flash' Spoilers: Will Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell Discover Oliver Queen's "Biggest Secret?"
With The Flash currently underway on the CW network, viewers are anxiously awaiting for the upcoming DC Comics crossover event, entitled 'Flash vs. Arrow.' When these two superheroes meet each other, will Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) and Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) discover a huge secret from Ollie's past?
In our previous recap, we witnessed the origin story of how Barry (Gustin) ended up with his super-speed powers. Due to a particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs, lightning struck Barry and threw him into a vat of chemicals. Not only did Barry end up with powers, half of the civilian population of Central City became metahumans.
Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) guest-starred in the episode, Going Rogue. Though Felicity didn't mention what was going on in Arrow, the writers focused more on the emotional arc between her and Barry (Gustin). The two realized they are attracted to others who are already taken. The episode ended with Barry kissing Felicity, promising to always be there for her.
In an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg reveals that Arrow fans should definitely tune in for The Flash's eighth episode.
Kriesberg teases, "We discover something about Oliver (Stephen Amell) which is probably one of the biggest secrets we've ever revealed on the show - and it happens on The Flash."
Could the secret come from Olivier's time on the island? Does it have anything to with Slade, Deathstroke? We will have to wait and find out.
As we previously reported, there will be a fight between the Flash and Green Arrow. Justin explains the choreography, which involved their special effects team, "I do a lot of the fighting. I don't have to do it full speed and then they ramp it up, and a lot of people have to freeze and I keep moving. Then I have to clear frame and step back into frame."
The episode, Flash vs. Arrow, is expected to air on November 25. We also have our 5 Thoughts on The Flash's recent four episodes.
