Jennifer Lawrence 'Cries' Amid Nip-Slip Wardrobe Malfunction: 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' Beauty 'Horrified To Sing' For The Lumineers On Movie Set
Before flaunting her red carpet beauty at the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" movie premiere after-party in London, actress Jennifer Lawrence experienced a minor wardrobe malfunction alongside New Zealand songstress Lorde:
Thankfully, the 24-year-old Hollywood sweetheart managed to laugh-off the barely-there nip slip and enjoy the rest of the evening with her "The Hunger Games" co-stars. But according to movie producer Francis Lawrence, one thing really upset J-Law while on-set filming the latest sci-fi adventure flick. And it had nothing to do with the disturbing nude photos leak better-known as "The Fappening" that hit the web a few weeks ago...
Lawrence was horrified of singing!
Lawrence admits that the Academy Award winning starlet shed a few tears before hitting the mic. But things ultimately turned out great with help from folk rockers The Lumineers. Infamous gossip guru Perez Hilton reports:
"She'd probably tell you it was her least favourite day. She was horrified to sing, she cried a little bit in the morning before she had to sing. But she did it and she did it all day - and she hated me for making her do it all day - but she did and it's great. She'll probably never really understand it because she's so sensitive about the singing... The Lumineers sent the melody over and then we had a vocal coach, who sort of shifted the key for Jen's voice. Then she started working with Jen once or twice - Jen didn't really want to do too much of the training... I was worried, I really thought we were going to have to do a bunch of pitch shifting, but she sounded great. What you hear in the movie is what she did on the day in the quarry."
Pretty cool! She can act AND sing - no wonder why everyone loves the down-to-earth "X-Men" beauty.
As most fans already know, heroine Katniss Everdeen croons "The Hanging Tree" in Suzanne Collins' beloved book series, so Lawrence having to bust out some vocals was bound to happen sooner or later.
