Keith Urban To Premiere New Guitar Collection on HSN
"Little Bit of Everything" singer Keith Urban loves guitars and now you can play a guitar just like his. The 47-year-old artist previously debited his guitar line on HSN last year, and this Saturday he is debuting a new guitar collection on the network.
Urban will unveil his "Night Star" collection on HSN this weekend starting at 12:01 a.m. this Saturday, according to People. "I've had so many people tell me how much they want to play the guitar. My response is always, 'Then why don't you?'" Urban told People about his newest inspiration for the line of guitars.
"In my opinion, kids should be encouraged to engage in music and, if possible, to play an instrument," he added. "It's been shown to enhance development and self-confidence. And for adults? Why not? Air guitar can get old after awhile!"
The "Night Star" collection will be available for a limited for only $289.95, which is $100 off the regular HSN price, the publication reported. In addition to the guitar, you will also receive a DVD from Urban called Player: Beginning Guitar with Keith Urban.
In addition to his new guitar collection, the American Idol judge was recently announced as a speaker for the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in 2015. "This will be a definitive 'memorable moment' for all of us this year: having this incredible talent address this most critical skill in today's hectic professional business environment, with far reaching effect on one's ability to communicate," CRS Executive Director Bill Mayne said in a statement on their site.
"Urban is one of the first artists to have literally broken down the separation that can exist even on the concert stage. Not only has he been leaving the stage to join his audiences for years, he was the first artist that I've ever seen whose stage literally bled into the crowd, with no barrier of any kind — no doubt entirely by design."
Mayne continued, saying, "Keith is one of the most impressive and successful artists of our time. There's no doubt that both the musician and the man have set the standard for the way any artist's relationship should be with his or her fans. His ability to connect on a human level, whether in person or through his music, is unprecedented."
