Bill Clinton Loves Being A Grandpa To Chelsea Clinton's Baby Charlotte: "It's Amazing"
The former 42nd President of the United States has one role that he is loving –– being a grandpa! Bill Clinton gushed on the Ellen DeGeneres show Tuesday, Nov.11 about watching new granddaughter Charlotte Clinton-Mezvinsky grow.
"It's amazing," Clinton revealed to Ellen. "Hillary and I only have one child (Chelsea Clinton) and she's quite wonderful, but it's been a long time since she's been that age. So the biggest hoot for me, my granddaughter turned six weeks on Friday, is watching them wake up to the world."
Aww!
As MStars News reported, the former First Daughter and hubby Marc Mezvinsky welcomed their first child on Friday, Sept. 26, and it didn't take Charlotte's new grandparents long before they posted adorable photos of them in their new role.
"Their vision starts to get out, and she almost doesn't have time to laugh, she never cried, she just soaks things up," Clinton said. "I think if my mind worked like that it would be great," adding "It's a great feeling, it's part of the rhythm of life. It helps you come to terms in a really positive way, with your own mortality. It's just a joyful experience. I love it. I'm so happy."
His daughter Chelsea made her first red carpet appearance (Nov. 10) since giving birth at the Glamour's 2014 Women of the Year Awards. "This is my first night out," Clinton said in a speech. "I had started to wonder if I'd ever wear a nice dress or high-heeled shoes again of have adult conversations!"
We can foresee Bill and Hillary taking on babysitting duties for sure!
