Lee Daniels' Richard Pryor Biopic Followed By Horror Movie Project 'Demon House' Based On True Story Of Demon Possession In Gary, Indiana
There's no denying that Lee Daniels is one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, with a great filmography to back up that statement. So wouldn't you be interested to see how the Precious and The Butler director would approach a horror film? Well we're going to get the chance to experience this soon because his newest project was just announced: Demon House. Currently working on the Richard Pryor biopic, Daniels will take on the fact-based, true story of a Gary, Indiana family that has been terrorized by supernatural events with evidence to back it up.

According to Deadline, this new movie project is based on the some strange experiences of Latoya Ammons and her family. According to numerous reports and backed up by a ton of investigatory evidence, this family has been terrorized by some sort of demon for years, continuing to this day. These events of demonic possession and related activity have been witnessed and documented by the Department of Child Services, the Gary (IN) Police Department and hospital staff over the years.
One report witnessed by a health care worker, as Slash Film points out, describes a time that a child was lifted into the air and thrown into a wall.
