Tom Cruise, Prince William & Princess Kate Middleton: 'Mission: Impossible 5' Hollywood Movie Star Goes Missing In Hotel Near Royal Family's City Of Dukeship, Cambridgeshire
Tom Cruise may be one of the biggest movie stars known to man, but it seems despite his upcoming Mission: Impossible 5 role, he's not easily recognized across the globe. The star has been in Peterborough, filming with British aircraft for the film, but during his Marriott hotel stay he went missing with next to nobody realizing the caliber of star they were hosting. The worldwide famous actor had a few problems during his stay, which was located just minutes away from Cambridge, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton's city of dukeship.
The 52-year-old stunt-star was strapped to an aircraft as it took off, and the scene looks set to be one of the most exciting of the upcoming film. However, life wasn't quite as glamorous when he got back to his hotel. He was asked if he had a loyalty card during his stay at the Marriott, and during his breakfast he was interrupted.
It's believed he stayed at the hotel under a false name, but ironically not one of the hotel workers noticed the man they watch on the television screen was sitting right under their nose. A source explained the error, saying, "Tom took it in good jest, but given the security operation to keep his and Simon [Pegg]'s stay under wraps it was funny no one seemed to bat an eyelid."
Although Cruise might be one of the biggest stars in the film industry, we wonder if some of his biggest fans will be left kicking themselves at not realizing who was in front of them. We also wonder, did he get to visit Cambridge?
