Fox's 'Gotham' Spoilers: Will Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue Meet Dick Grayson & 'The Flying Graysons?'
Now that the Batman prequel, Gotham, is currently underway on Fox, an important character will be making his way from the DC Comics Universe to the television screen. Will Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) meet Dick Grayson and the Flying Graysons?
In our previous recap, Gordon (McKenzie) was ordered by Carmine Falcone to assassinate Oswald Copplepot (Lord Taylor). Although Bulllock (Logue) was watching, Gordon managed to fake Oswald's death. As the season progressed, Bullock was under the assumption Oswald was dead and Gordon was willing the play along with Carmine and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith).
In the game-changing epsiode, after Oswald showed up alive and well at the precinct, Bullock realized Gordon was lying to him the entire time. Though they settled their differences, trouble still looms from Falcone and his real protege, Oswald Copplepot (Robin Taylor). With Gordon's life in their hands, Oswald promises the good cop will join their side.
From the latest recap, Gordon had to face Black Mask and his underground fight club. Back at school, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) was being picked up by a bully. Bruce doesn't realize his bully, Tommy Elliot, will grow up to be Batman's arch-nemesis, Hush.
In an interview with the Daily Beast, the Southland actor teased what viewers may see this upcoming season. Several new characters will emerge on the show, actor Nicholas D'Agosto as Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face. Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) 's transformation into The Riddler will also take place.
McKenzie adds, "The Grayson's may appear this season. I'm not 100 percent sure yet, but I think so."
As we previously mentioned, in the comics, the boy wonder has grown up and become a spy with his own series, titled Grayson from writers Tim Seeley, Tom King, and artist Mikel Janin, which we highly recommend picking up.
