WWE Rumors: Ryback, Luke Harper and Triple H at Survivor Series

The latest round of WWE rumors and spoilers deals with the Survivor Series pay-per-view next week and the members of Team John Cena and Team Authority, so let's dive in and see what the Internet is saying today.

Firstly, we saw Ryback turn on The Authority at the end of Monday Night Raw this week. He laid out Kane and Seth Rollins and then stormed up the ramp while Cena applauded from inside the ring. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon watched from a monitor backstage and seemed distraught, but Luke Harper then offered them a sacrifice in the form of Dolph Ziggler and remarked that he's a team player.

No official announcements have been made yet, but the expectation is for Ryback and Harper to become the fifth and final team members of Team Cena and Team Authority, respectively. This is not a huge shock, but some had questioned if Ryback would actually side with Cena or would just decide to do his own thing.

This also means that Triple H will not compete at Survivor Series. Some had speculated that The Game could suit up for the match given the stakes (if The Authority loses, they are out of power for good) and given the real-world financial situation in WWE, particularly with regard to the subscriber numbers for the WWE Network. WWE is giving the Network away for free in November, and Triple H likely could have brought more eyeballs to the Network had he wrestled. It seems now like he would not compete until WrestleMania 31.

Another rumor floating around is that WWE focused so heavily on Ryback this week on Raw because the company wants to lift him back to the status he had during his initial dominant run in 2012, which came to a screeching halt when he lost to CM Punk at Hell in a Cell.
