Chris Brown and Rihanna Back Together For Awkward Moment in VMA Awards

Chris Brown and Rihanna will be back together in the same room for the VMA Awards and there are good reasons for it to be awkward. Just recently, Rihanna confessed her unchanging love for Brown and he was reportedly emotional after watching her Oprah interview.

Another set up that will make the situation more awkward is that Brown and Drake are up against each other for the Best Male Video and Rihanna makes an appearance on Drake's nominated video for "Take Care". The two former boyfriends of Rihanna allegedly fought over Rihanna at a Soho club fight earlier this summer.

The public knows that Rihanna is still deeply in love with Brown.

"I think he was the love of my life," Rihanna said to Oprah. "He was my first love and I see that he loved me the same way. I truly love him. The main thing for me is he's at peace. I'm not at peace if he's not happy or he's still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds that peace."

Brown is currently dating model Karrueche Tran, and tweeted a simple "Lol" after the interview aired. Fans asked Tran if she was referring to the Rihanna interview and received no response.
